Job summary

LifeNet Health in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Packaging Technician to label and package finished goods, receive processed tissue, and maintain inventory control in the finished goods storage area.

You will release items into inventory, stock supplies, and document daily KPI data. This role supports the donor tissue mission and requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and reliable time management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of production or assembly experience.
• Two years SAP experience preferred.
• Two years manufacturing, production, tissue bank, organ procurement, medical device, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate labeling and packaging of finished goods following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Utilizes SAP and RF units according to SOPs.
• Performs crosscheck of labeling and packaging of finished goods in preparation for transfer to LifeNet Health inventory.
• Document the receipt of processed tissue from contract clients.
• Unpack finished goods inventory from irradiation all while following SOP guidelines.
• Receives, inspects, and stocks packaging and labeling supplies.
• Performs daily recording of Key Performance Indicators on the by hour/by day chart. Identifies and communicates nonconforming materials/conditions as necessary.
• Performs quarterly dose audit verification for all product types.
