The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI is seeking a Physical Therapist to lead evaluation, diagnosis, and an individualized plan of care across episodes of care. The role reports to the Clinical Manager and collaborates with senior staff to ensure safe, effective rehabilitation.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement interventions, document charges, and educate patients and caregivers. New graduates are welcome; active state license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Examines and evaluates patients and establishes diagnosis, prognosis, and plans of care.
• Implements treatment interventions and coordinates rehabilitation plan of care.
• Documents progress, discharge needs, and ensures compliance with policies.
• Seeks guidance as needed and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervises staff and students as appropriate and communicates with caregivers.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Master or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
