Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current Kansas OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Kansas.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and continued care.
• Participate in staff education and departmental operations.
• Assist with development and promotion of new clinical programs.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants when required according to state regulations.
