Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to work under a Physical Therapist, delivering therapy services to a diverse patient population in an onsite setting.

The position is part-time (40 hours per pay period) with days shifts. Compensation ranges from $22.54 to $33.81 per hour, depending on experience and licensure. Requires PTA degree, CO licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• CO State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitors patient responses and progress; communicates updates to the supervising PT.
• Educates patient and family about deficits and use of adaptive equipment; assists with discharge planning.
• Supervises support personnel as required and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
