Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dallas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in our inpatient setting, guiding independence and recovery. You’ll provide direct therapy, develop personalized plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

Current licensure or certification is required; CPR is required; a Masters is preferred, or Bachelor’s with substantial experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• Masters Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
