Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility and independence. You will work with patients to restore function and provide education to families and caregivers.

The role requires NBCOT certification and state OT licensure, with the possibility of additional compensation for scope and shift differentials. This is a full-time, day-shift position in a hospital-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for OT licensure.
• Master's degree preferred; Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Must possess state OT license and NBCOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to restore mobility and independence.
• Provide instruction to patients and families through standardized or individualized training.
• Initiate and maintain collaborative interactions with care teams to improve outcomes.
• Deliver care efficiently and participate in daily operations.
