Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team, delivering direct patient care, assessments, and personalized treatment plans to promote independence and recovery for our patients.

Collaborate with a compassionate multidisciplinary group, utilize advanced rehabilitation technologies, and celebrate patient progress through meaningful victories.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's Degree preferred

Bachelor's Degree + field experience
