As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled therapeutic care, focusing on restoring independence and improving quality of life for residents. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as Occupational Therapist in NJ.
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Help patients relearn or adapt skills for daily living.
• Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
