Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care in a comprehensive inpatient rehab setting. You will assess mobility, develop personalized treatment plans, and work with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, progress tracking, and education for patients and families. A current OT license and CPR are required; a master\'s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guide patients by supervising care and treatments, leading assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
