Job summary

Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, personalized therapy to rehabilitation patients. Current licensure and CPR certification are required; a Master’s degree is preferred or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
