Job summary

Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will evaluate patients, design individualized therapy plans, provide hands-on interventions, and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to support recovery and independence.

Candidates should hold a Texas OT license and a degree in OT (MS/BS/OTD). Acute care experience is preferred; new grads are welcome. Weekday schedule with rotating weekends and some holidays may apply.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• OT licensure in Texas required.
• Master's/Bachelor's/Doctorate in OT required.
• Acute care experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Weekdays with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients' functional abilities and needs; developing individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting plans, and documenting outcomes thoroughly.
