Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Observation Unit Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following established nursing models and HCA Healthcare standards.

You will assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures and administer medications, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' condition at admission and each shift.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
