Job summary

UNC Lenoir Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process, with emphasis on age-specific needs and clinical leadership. The role focuses on planning, providing and evaluating care while maintaining medical records and collaborating with the care team.

The RN will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver cost-efficient care with strong patient outcomes, working on site in Kinston, North Carolina, with 36 hours per week and a night schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS and ACLS within one year; PALS/TNCC/ENPC encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• The RN directs, provides and evaluates age-specific patient care using nursing process and clinical leadership.
• Maintains medical records and develops nursing care plans.
• Interacts with patients, families and the healthcare team to deliver cost-efficient care with good outcomes.
