Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a Security Officer for the Shelbyville, KY area. The role involves patrolling facilities, monitoring CCTV, and responding to incidents during a 3rd shift schedule (11p–7a, Sun–Thu with Fri/Sat off).

A high school diploma is required, and on-the-job training is provided. Candidates should be able to pass background checks, have strong observation and communication skills, and be comfortable using security systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exact experience in security preferred but not required; on-the-job training available.
• Licensing: Security Officer License where applicable; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent unauthorized access.
• Detec t suspicious activities and ensure safety and security policies are followed.
• Respond to emergencies and communicate effectively with team and clients.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and use security systems to document events.
