Ideal candidates have 5+ years in S&C, CSCS/RSCC, CPR/AED, and NCAA/pro experience, with Spanish fluency preferred. Fort Myers-based with off-season camps and pre-season work expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
• Minimum five years in a strength and conditioning-related role.
• CSCS and RSCC certifications required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Spanish fluency preferred.
• Experience coaching NCAA or professional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and professional development of minor league S&C staff.
• Coordinate staff assignments and coverage year-round.
• Implement and supervise Red Sox S&C programming at affiliates.
• Travel to minor league affiliates and Dominican Republic academy.
• Integrate S&C with other departments in Player Development.
• Support nutrition standards and expectations with Nutrition dept.
• Collaborate with Baseball Sciences on diagnostic/monitoring tech.
• Communicate goals and progress to athletes and stakeholders.
• Educate staff and athletes in performance areas relevant to S&C.
• Participate in internal research and training initiatives.
• Support return-to-play process with medical staff.
• Maintain gym and equipment to professional standards.
