Silver Stage Middle in Lyon County is seeking a Special Education Teacher - Self-Contained, Mild/Moderate Disabilities for the 2026/27 school year. This full-time role follows the LCSD Licensed Employee Salary Schedule and uses a 9-month calendar (185/189 days) with a salary range of $50,761 to $92,279 depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree preferred.
Experience working with the educational setting in an area of special education preferred.
Must possess or be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license issued by the Nevada Department of Education and be certified in the relevant subject area.

Aufgaben

Establish teaching strategies based on proven instructional techniques for students with disabilities.
Maintain student records and submit required reports in a timely manner.
Deliver instruction that uses functional curriculum domains (domestic, vocational, recreational, community, functional academics).
Collaborate with site administrator, staff, and paraprofessionals to support students.
