Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate required.
• PAC Test (No Child Left Behind) or 48 college hours required.
• Bilingual test required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with routine classroom management and instructional tasks.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom environment and supplies.
• Assist students with homework, tests, and accommodations under IEP.
• Maintain student records and communicate needs to faculty and staff.
• Support student safety and implement behavior plans as directed.
• Assist with loading/unloading of school buses when needed.
• Assist with physical education activities and student hygiene needs.
