Breed Middle School in Lynn, MA is seeking a Middle School Social Studies teacher for a long-term substitute role. The candidate will plan standards-based lessons aligned to MA Curriculum Frameworks, assess student progress, and provide feedback while supporting diverse learners.

The role requires MA DESE licensure in History 5-12 or Social Science 5-12, plus SEI endorsement. Collaboration with the department and a commitment to professional growth are expected.

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE licensure in History 5-12 or Social Science 5-12.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Additional content area licensure encouraged.

• Understanding of institutional racism, bias and their impact on underserved communities.
