Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Connecticut Teaching Certification in Mathematics preferred.
• Non-certified applicants must have at least 12 college credits in mathematics and provide transcripts.
• 1–2 years of classroom teaching experience in mathematics preferred, including experience with lesson planning and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Teach 6th–7th grade mathematics with standards-aligned instruction and lesson planning.
• Create and maintain a structured, positive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to communicate student needs and maintain records.
