Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Appropriate State of Ohio teaching license (Intervention Specialist).
• Experience and/or training evidencing the ability to instruct students with severe behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom and implement appropriate programs.
• Develop and implement IEPs.
• Conduct and participate in team meetings.
• Supervise classroom assistants.
• Ensure safety of students.
• Develop schedules and lesson plans aligned with IEPs.
• Develop and implement behavior management plans.
• Communicate necessary information to staff for student program implementation.
