Job summary

The role involves drafting and negotiating sale agreements, leases, and development-related documents, with client contact and significant responsibility.

You will work on acquisitions, development, financing, and zoning matters, coordinating with engineers and planners, and advising clients under Virginia law.

Qualifications

• Admission to Virginia bar and active license
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Experience advising on land use, zoning, and entitlement matters under Virginia law

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, leases, development-related agreements, and loan documents
• Conduct title and survey diligence
• Coordinate with engineers, planners, traffic consultants, and other experts on land use matters
• Represent clients before planning commissions, boards of supervisors, zoning appeals, and local government entities
