Job summary

Maryland-Wellness,-LLC is seeking a Therapist to support clients in developing cognitive, emotional, and social skills and to implement individualized treatment plans.

The role involves conducting various counseling modalities, documenting progress, and collaborating with the treatment team to address urgent mental health matters while maintaining clinical standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver quality of care in line with local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain confidentiality and all HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
• Develop intake, assessment, and treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Collaborate with treatment team and refer to additional resources when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and group counseling for clients.
• Diagnose clients based on history, symptoms, and behaviors using appropriate codes.
• Identify needs and preferences for treatment and set goals.
• Complete documentation such as intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes within 24–48 hours.
• Provide referrals for additional services and support discharge planning.
• Communicate with staff and affiliate organizations regarding scheduling and client care.
• Maintain scheduled client appointments and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Represent the organization positively to clients and partners.
