Crestwood Behavioral Health Inc. in Vallejo, California is seeking a Mental Health Activities Assistant (Recreation Assistant) to help develop and run the activity program, planning events that align with standards and policies while supporting residents’ spiritual, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

The role is full-time, with a schedule that focuses on providing meaningful recreational activities within a behavioral health setting, and offers comprehensive benefits as part of a full-time

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, one year of which was full time in an activities program in a health care setting.
• Minimum of one year experience in a psychiatric setting with the chronically severe and persistent mentally ill.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing the activity program and planning events by current federal, state, and local standards, as well as Crestwood policies and procedures.
• Ensure residents' spiritual, emotional, and psycho-social needs are met individually.
