Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a part-time Math Instructor II to teach and tutor students after school and on weekends, in-center or online, using our Mathnasium Method. You will create a welcoming learning environment, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to tailor instruction for K–12 students.

Training and curriculum are provided. The role emphasizes a positive, energetic teaching style, math proficiency through Algebra I, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining student

Qualifications

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Math competency through algebra I or higher.
Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.
High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
