Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a dedicated tutor to teach math to K‑12 students in center, online, or hybrid formats. You will work with teammates to deliver personalized instruction and monitor engagement, using the Mathnasium Method.

Hours are flexible after school and on weekends, with tutoring time slots Mon–Thu 3:30 PM–7:30 PM and Sun 1:00 PM–5:00 PM; Fri and Sat are closed. Training, curriculum, and tools are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and helping students learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and receive training.
• Strong math skills through Algebra I.
• Able to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
• Must pass math literacy test, have work authorization, and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid delivery using Mathnasium methods.
• Collaborate with team to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment.
