Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Marion, NC is hiring a Material Handler, Receiving to move materials and production supplies to and from production areas, warehouses and trailers using a forklift or pallet jack. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires forklift experience, relevant certifications, basic English and math skills, and the ability to follow SOPs and cGMP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification/experience preferred.
• Powered Industrial Truck certification may be required.
• Hazmat training may be required.
• Ability to read and follow safety and quality instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick raw materials and production supplies and deliver to designated areas.
• Transport materials to/from production areas and warehouse.
• Use GME ERP to update inventory locations.
• Receive IPSO and prepare them for shipment.
• Secure trailers during loading and unload materials.
• Pre-Op forklift and change batteries when needed.
• Notify supervisor of safety or quality issues.
