Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services in California seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide direct patient care in Veterans Home, correctional healthcare facilities, or state hospitals. This 12-hour shift role offers day or night options: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Valid, active California LVN license to practice.
Current Basic Life Support certification (AHA or ARC).
At least six months of direct patient care experience within last 36 months.
Experience using eMAR and EMR systems.
Ability to meet California Code of Regulations Title 22 and Title 42 requirements.
Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and in emergencies.

Responsibilities

Plan and provide nursing care including medications, therapies, injections, and prevention.
Take vital signs and monitor devices; adjust treatments as needed.
Obtain specimens and perform routine lab tests.
Monitor patient status and report to provider or RN.
Contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress evaluations.
Document treatments and patient responses in medical records.
