Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (BS or PharmD).
• Iowa pharmacist license active or ability to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee dispensing of medications to long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication questions and provide clinical guidance.
• Participate in IV and TPN preparation.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Help maintain high standards of quality, safety, and patient care.
