The ideal candidate will be a Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse with a practical nurse license, experienced in acute care, and committed to supporting students' educational access.

Salary ranges from $48,915 to $75,222 per year.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a program leading to a Practical Nurse License required.
• Valid Virginia Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Experience with mechanical ventilators, tracheostomies, and acute care practices.
• Ability to work effectively with children and families.
• Understanding of public-school education procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff to support students with disabilities.
• Monitor health needs and emergencies of students.
• Provide daily routine care including suctioning and positioning.
• Communicate student comfort and safety with nursing staff.
• Maintain an up-to-date Nursing Log for all students.
