Job summary

Mercy is seeking an LPN to provide patient care under supervision, following the nursing process. You will coordinate with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited LPN program, and an active LPN license. Certifications such as BLS (mandatory), LPN-IV, ACLS/PALS/PEARS, and ST.A.B.L.E. may be required within the department timeframe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• LPN-IV Certification or plan to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, and ST.A.B.L.E. certifications or plan to obtain as required.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
