Job summary

New Directions Mental Health is seeking licensed mental health therapists to join a collaborative clinical team delivering outpatient therapy. The role emphasizes culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments and evidence-based interventions to support clients of diverse backgrounds.

Clinicians will work with psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians, and staff to coordinate care, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development while progressing toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) in Pennsylvania or be eligible for licensure by hire.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention, and wellness plans.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning.
