Job summary

Center for Human Services in Kirksville, MO is seeking an Assistant Lead Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community living settings. The role assists the Lead Support Professional and helps supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals.

You will participate in mandatory trainings, maintain health and regulatory documentation, and help clients build life skills while promoting independence and meaningful community connections.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Some supervisory/management experience preferred.
• At least 1 year experience working with individuals with IDs/DD.

Responsibilities

• Aid individuals with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean living environment.
• Supervise and train Direct Support Professionals; schedule and evaluate performance.
• Maintain health and regulatory documentation; participate in trainings/meetings.
• Foster community involvement and meaningful relationships.
• Provide on-call support as part of the team.
