Franklin County Government in Kentucky is seeking a Planning & Zoning Development Planner to join our full-time staff. The role focuses on applying land use regulations, reviewing permits, and coordinating development plans with the Technical Review Team.

You will participate in planning policy development, attend Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments meetings, and conduct deed and plat research as needed. Salary range is $40,000 to $45,000.

Responsibilities

• Assists with administration of planning, zoning, subdivision, and development regulations.
• Reviews all Zoning Permit applications for conformance.
• Participates in development of planning policy and land use changes.
• Attends meetings before Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments.
• Performs deed and plat research.
