Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with one year of customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn city and county zoning ordinances to assist the public.
• Willingness to develop knowledge of permit processing procedures and standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and process departmental records and information.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and other job-related software.

Responsibilities

• Process and issue address assignments using GIS.
• Provide full administrative support to the Zoning Enforcement/Compliance process.
• Scan and upload electronic images of documents, files, and maps.
• Prepare and organize documents for scanning.
• Assist the public and agencies by retrieving permits, files, and maps from department software.
• Assist with online permit reviews and payments.
