Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Commitment to providing a world-class education to students from historically underserved communities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom culture of high achievement and student ownership of their learning.
• Provide daily instruction with clear outcomes, well-designed lessons and rigorous assessments.
• Incorporate hands-on learning experiences that broaden student exposure and require application of knowledge.
• Maintain a visually engaging classroom with current displays of exemplary student work.
• Communicate with students to understand their talents, interests and needs and share progress.
• Engage families regularly and collaborate with school-based staff and the Friendship network.
