Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract role serving K-8 students in a vibrant school district near Glendale, AZ. You will assess, diagnose and treat communication disorders, while developing and implementing IEPs to promote student success.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators, collect data, and provide progress reporting. This position offers a stable 40-hour week in a dynamic educational environment.

Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Prior experience in a school setting or with K-8 student populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among K-8 students.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs that support students' academic and social success.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to provide holistic support and progress reporting.
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing data collection to monitor growth and adjust plans as needed.
• Offer direct therapy services in both individual and group formats and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development opportunities.
