Applitrack Interim Boys Basketball Junior Varsity Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Chisholm ISD 695. The role supports the Head Varsity Coach in building a competitive, educational program for student-athletes.

Responsibilities include planning practices, mentoring players, assisting in game decisions, and ensuring compliance with school and state regulations. A strong focus on growth, teamwork, and leadership is expected.

Competenze

• Previous high school or collegiate coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, offensive and defensive concepts, and game management.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and connect with student-athletes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Assist Head Coach in developing and implementing practice plans focusing on advanced basketball skills and game preparation.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to enhance player performance and confidence.
• Help plan and execute in-game strategies, substitutions, and adjustments.
• Support scouting of opponents and film review to aid player development.
• Attend coaches' meetings and participate in professional development as required.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes on and off the court.
