Job summary

Kinexus Group is seeking a Job Placement Resource Specialist to coordinate employment and social support services for Offender Success participants in Michigan. You will analyze labor markets, build employer relationships, and guide participants through job readiness, planning, and placement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and/or experience or related field.
• Understand the challenges of those individuals seeking services who are returning into society after incarceration.
• Microsoft Excel knowledge is preferred for data tracking and reporting.
• Disciplined analytical thinking and decision making are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employment and social support services for Offender Success participants.
• Analyze labor market conditions and establish rapport with regional employers.
• Assist participants with job readiness, job placement, and career planning.
• Conduct assessments to identify financial assistance needs and educational goals.
• Work with parole agents and partners to verify employment and future suitability.
• Maintain and manage participant files, reports, and budget for training and materials.
