Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio Special Education teaching certificate/license for disabilities.
• Documentation of a clear criminal record.
• Compliance with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide an educational program for students as defined by the IEP.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, teaching assistants, and other staff to modify curriculum as needed.
• Use assessment, data collection, and progress monitoring to inform instruction.
• Communicate with parents and staff about students' educational, social, behavioral, and adaptive needs.
• Incorporate technology and uphold acceptable use policies.
• Adhere to policies and complete required reports with timelines; maintain confidentiality.
