Qualifications

• Ohio Dept of Education credentialing required or on path to earning Resident Educator status.
• Intervention Specialist licensure (K-12) Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive.
• All applicants must meet Highly Qualified status and licensure must fit assigned coursework.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide specially designed instruction based on student needs.
• Differentiate lessons and implement accommodations/modifications in general education settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and compliance records.
• Support students' social, behavioral, and academic development.
• Participate in team meetings (IEP, TBTs, MTSS, etc.).
• Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
