Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an MD to practice in Indiana.
• Current DEA, CSR registration.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in physician specialty; if Board Eligible, must be Board Certified within 3 years of hire.
• Malpractice insurability.
• Current BLS or PALS.
• Must meet credentialing and privileging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform examinations.
• Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment.
• Prescribe medication in accordance with Indiana statute and professional guidelines.
• Perform minor procedures within credentialing.
• Arrange referrals for services outside primary care scope.
• Review In-Basket daily and address time-sensitive patient information.
• Ensure continuity of care during assignments and absences.
• Comply with EMG/EH/EHC policies and infection control plans.
• Participate in required meetings and quality initiatives.
• Support patient experience and service initiatives and use AIDET.
• Ensure timely documentation of visits within 24–72 hours.
• Maintain performance metrics and meeting regulatory requirements.
