Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Worldwide Amazon Stores Internal Audit team in Seattle, WA. You will execute audit procedures and testing, collaborate with auditors and engineers, and help identify control gaps across diverse operations and technologies.

You will work independently on assigned audits while coordinating with Audit Managers and senior auditors to drive meaningful improvements and well-documented findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of risk/fraud analysis or compliance experience.
• 2+ years working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Executes assigned audit tasks and test steps within defined timelines under guidance.
• Collaborates with Audit Managers and senior auditors to deliver high-quality work.
• Uses data analytics and audit tools to identify control gaps and inefficiencies.
• Performs data analyses to support testing and identify anomalies.
• Documents results clearly and accurately in workpapers and findings.
• Escalates issues and blockers as needed and seeks direction.
