Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
• Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area OR active enrollment with eligibility for temporary certificate
• ESOL/ESE/Gifted endorsements preferred
• Teaching experience in subject area or FLVS internship/program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging instructional activities for assigned subjects
• Adapt resources for students with varied backgrounds and needs
• Supervise and manage classroom, including attendance records
• Collaborate with supervisor and peers in professional learning communities
• Communicate with students, parents/guardians, and stakeholders on timelines
• Provide instructional services in person at the assigned facility
