Job summary

Nashoba Regional School District – Florence Sawyer School is seeking a Long Term Substitute Instructional Assistant to support students in a variety of classrooms and program settings. The position reports to the building principal and works under the direction of the classroom teacher, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and student growth.

The role requires a high school diploma (Associates or Bachelors in education preferred) and prior paraprofessional experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's in education preferred.
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional per DESE standards is desirable.
• Willingness and ability to physically manage students as needed.
• Classroom experience and college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support academic development with instruction for individuals or small groups.
