Qualifications

• Experience teaching improv or performing arts to school-aged youth.
• Strong classroom presence and ability to engage diverse students.
• Interest in trauma-informed education and culturally responsive teaching.
• Passionate, energetic, and committed to equitable arts education.

Responsibilities

• Attend a mandatory in-person Training Retreat on Sunday, August 30th 2026.
• Facilitate in-person improv curriculum in Philadelphia public schools (middle and/or high school).
• Collaborate with staff to adapt curriculum to student needs.
• Track and reflect on student growth in communication, collaboration, and confidence.
• Teach weekly classes for a 10-week residency (schedule determined before semester begins).
• Optional: teach corporate professional development workshops.
