Job summary

BHB Structural seeks a qualified Structural Engineer to design and analyze concrete, steel, wood and masonry structures. You will model in Revit, RAM, and other CAD tools while ensuring code compliance and coordinating with internal and external teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree ( Structural emphasis) with 3+ years building design experience and may have an EIT. Hybrid/remote work options are available along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Concrete, steel, and wood design experience or coursework.
• Minimum 3+ years of building design experience.
• EIT Certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Emphasis in Structural Engineering).
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (Emphasis in Structural Engineering) strongly preferred.
• Communicate well with team members.
• Experience with RAM, RISA, REVIT, AutoCAD and Excel is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations for concrete, steel, wood, and masonry structures.
• Structural model using computer-aided design software (Revit, RAM, etc.)
• Redline structural drawings, details, and schedules.
• Interpret building codes & material codes
• Collaborate with teams both internally & externally
