Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Services School Special Education Teacher for a local contract in Cambridge, MA. You will provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities and develop IEPs with measurable goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• DESE Certification as a 5–12 Special Education Teacher or a Master’s in Special Education.
• Experience teaching mathematics to students with disabilities, including IEP development and progress monitoring/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals and appropriate supports.
• Track student progress and provide timely progress monitoring and reporting to inform instructional decisions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and participation in the school environment.
