Qualifications

• Certified teacher or qualify for Rule 10 certification.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Current certification in CPR and AED

Responsibilities

• Enforce all rules of the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
• Supervise student athletes during all facets of participation (competition travel, meetings, practices) to ensure safety and alignment with district goals.
• Maintain required athletic records for district, conference, state and KSHSAA compliance.
• Verify eligibility and equipment readiness before participation, ensuring transfer students meet KSHSAA rules.
• Organize practice schedules, facility usage, and equipment management to support efficient program operation.
• Oversee coaching staff and student managers, providing direction and mentoring.
• Communicate expectations of sportsmanship to staff, parents, and athletes per policy.
