Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• Previous experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas (walls, doors, tile, fixtures, patient TVs and equipment) with germicidal solutions.
• Loads service cart and transports supplies to work area.
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpet; spot cleans carpet.
• Cleans restrooms and maintains sanitary conditions; replenishes essentials.
• Collects and removes trash; sanitizes garbage cans and compactor area.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste in a closed container for sterilization.
