Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients' homes across Texas, including Richmond. The role involves working under a physician’s supervision to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders.

Ideal candidates are licensed SLPs with reliable transportation, able to serve diverse home settings and patient needs, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a home-based environment.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an SLP in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting, under the care of an attending physician.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative or augmentative communication.
• Work with patients who have experienced a stroke or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
